ZestyText is a messaging platform built for legitimate communication. This policy defines what you may and may not send using our service. Violations result in immediate account termination and may be reported to carriers and relevant authorities.
You must have express written consent from every recipient before sending any message. "Express written consent" means the recipient has actively agreed to receive SMS messages from you — a pre-checked checkbox does not qualify. You must be able to demonstrate consent if requested.
Purchased lists, scraped numbers, rented lists, or numbers collected without clear SMS consent are strictly prohibited. Using such lists is a violation of both this policy and the TCPA.
All messages sent through ZestyText must identify the sender. Our platform automatically prepends your event or business name in ALL CAPS to every message. You may not use a sender name that impersonates another person, business, or brand.
ZestyText automatically includes "Reply STOP to opt out" in every message. You must never attempt to remove or alter this language. Opt-outs are processed immediately and permanently — you may not re-add opted-out numbers to any list.
You must not send messages at volumes or frequencies that could constitute harassment. Sending the same message to the same recipient multiple times in a short window is prohibited. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend sends that generate abnormal complaint rates.
We monitor for policy violations including carrier complaint rates, opt-out rates, and content flags. Accounts found in violation will be suspended immediately without notice and without refund. Serious violations may be reported to carriers, the FCC, FTC, or relevant law enforcement.
