You pick a plan, name your event, and pay. We give you a sign-up link and QR code to share with the people you want to reach. They tap the link and sign up. When you're ready to text everyone, you write your message (or use our AI writer), and once it passes our automated review, you pay and it goes out to everyone who signed up.
Yes. One dollar, up to 25 people, no account needed, no subscription. No catch.
No. There is nothing monthly and nothing renews. You pay for each text you send, so a $5 plan is $5 for that message. If you send the same group a reminder later, that is another $5.
United States phone numbers only. Any number starting with +1.
Sign-up and consent
After you create your event, you get a unique sign-up link (like zestytext.com/join/ZT-XXXX-XXXX) and a QR code. Share them via text, email, social media, or printed flyers. Anyone who wants your updates taps the link, enters their phone number, and confirms they want to receive texts. Only people who sign up will get your texts.
No. To comply with TCPA and carrier rules, every recipient must sign up directly through your ZestyText event link. They give consent at the moment they sign up. This is what keeps the platform legitimate and protects you legally.
ZestyText is the registered sender for every message. Your event name appears in every text as the topic, like "ZestyText: SARAH'S WEDDING: ..." This is required for compliance.
Every message includes "Reply STOP to end." When someone replies STOP, they are taken off every one of your lists straight away, and they will not get anything else from you. This happens automatically and you do not have to do anything. If they ever change their mind, they would have to sign themselves up again.
Yes. Each event is its own subscription. If your guests want to be on your wedding event AND on your reception event, they sign up separately for each.
Sending messages
Yes. Tell our AI what your event is about and any key details. It writes a ready-to-send text in seconds. You approve, edit, or regenerate before anything is sent.
It depends on how long your event name is, because the name is part of the text. A short name leaves you more room. The page counts it for you as you type and tells you if you go over. The full text is put together like this: "ZestyText: YOUR EVENT NAME: your message. Reply STOP to end". The whole thing has to fit in 160 characters.
Yes. Every message you submit is reviewed by automated AI moderation before payment is taken. If your message contains threats, harassment, sexual content, hate speech, scams, or other prohibited content, it is blocked instantly. You're not charged. You can edit and try again.
Yes. Open your page, find the event, and click "Send Reminder for This Event". You pick the date you want it to go out, pick a plan, write the message and pay. It goes to the same people who already signed up. Same prices as the first text.
Most messages arrive within minutes. Sometimes one does not get through, usually because the number was typed wrong, the phone is switched off, or the phone company blocked it. That part is not in our control. Once a text has been sent it cannot be refunded.
Account and dashboard
No. There is no account to make and no password to remember. You type your email, we send you a link, you click it, and you are in. Bookmarking your page does not work, because the link is what gets you in, not the address.
Go to zestytext.com/login, type your email address, and a new link will be sent to you straight away. You do not need to contact us. The link works one time and lasts 30 minutes. If it runs out, just ask for another one the same way.
Yes. Use the same email to create as many events as you want. They all show up in your dashboard.
Pricing and refunds
No charge. Stripe never opens. You can edit your message and try again. Nothing was paid because nothing was sent.
No. Once a message is sent, it cannot be unsent. All sales are final. See our Refund Policy for details on platform errors.
Through Stripe. Credit, debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay. We never see your card details.
Privacy and compliance
Yes. ZestyText is the registered SMS sender. We collect consent directly from every subscriber, store consent records as required by law (timestamp, IP, exact disclosure text shown, and method), and process opt-outs immediately. We comply with TCPA, CTIA messaging guidelines, and carrier rules.
We investigate every abuse report. We may suspend the offending event, ban the account, refund affected subscribers, or report to law enforcement depending on severity. Email abuse@zestytext.com to report abuse.
No threats, harassment, sexual content, hate speech, scams, illegal content, drug promotion, gambling, payday loans, cryptocurrency solicitation, or anything else listed in our Acceptable Use Policy. Carriers prohibit "SHAFT" content (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco) and we enforce that.
Subscriber questions (received a message?)
Reply STOP to that text and you will be taken off straight away. You will not get anything else unless you sign yourself up again. If you want to report misuse, email abuse@zestytext.com with the message details.
Reply STOP to any message. You will be taken off that list straight away and you will not get any more texts from it. If you ever change your mind, you would have to sign yourself up again.
Never. Your phone number is used only to send the event updates you signed up for. See our Privacy Policy.
